I am looking to hire an Eastern European web developer intern on a full time basis. This is a paid position and your return airfare from your home country will be funded. Students from universities only.

We are an online marketplace for personal unsecured loans. We like to characterize ourselves as the "booking.com" for personal loans. It empowers consumers to obtain personal loans at the best rates and from the most reliable and reputable lenders in the market. We aggregate the supply and demand in a common marketplace accessible by web and by mobile (iOS). We will be launching in Silicon valley at DEMO Fall 2012 in October and we are funded. 

Requirement

We require a developer intern who can do light / medium duty web programming and maintenance of the platform (LAMP). Major heavy duty work will be done by an external software company. We are a startup and we work at a co-working space.
This individual will be working to add Web 2.0 & social functionality to loangarage.com. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, PHP5/MySQL development experience and/or interest, and will be able to get up to speed quickly.

Required Skills

PHP5 - Candidate should be a PHP5 developer and interested in gaining experience, familiar with the latest features in PHP 5.2.X and 5.3.X.

MySQL - Modern database development expertise, words like 'trigger' and 'view' should be part of your vocabulary.

XHTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX - Javascript/XHTML/CSS development skills will be necessary. jQuery experience preferred.

Object Oriented Development / CS Background - Ideal candidates should understand object oriented development, and apply OO concepts to everything they do. Formal CS background or experience preferred.

Self-Starter - Looking for candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction.

Bonus Skills

Web Services - Experience building modern web services

Keen eye for design and programming with a design outlook! 
Good command of English is a MUST!

Remuneration: Paying a fixed sum on a monthly basis. Plus benefits.
